The Customer Service/Contract Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by operating as the lead point of contact for daily customer service matters. This position must continually identify and assess customer expectations to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Establish and maintain customer relationships by serving as the daily interface between CE Machine Company and assigned customer base.
Serve as the first point of contact for assigned customers and maintain open relationships between customers, vendors, and the production team by coordinating and supporting information flow between internal and external customers.
Responsible for maintaining customer open orders and status reports as required in addition to daily updating of part statuses and data entry of pertinent information.
Actively manage on time customer delivery requirements by using initiatives to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles.
Consistently track, report, and communicate customer issues to management team.
Maintain customer minimum and maximum levels and vendor owned inventory programs.
Oversee customer account management, including negotiating and communicating major request, issues, and changes.
Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing in a customer service role preferred.
Strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting customer deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated track record of excellent customer service skills and desire to work with team members to accomplish business and customer objectives
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and good judgement in dealing with incoming projects as well as adapting to changing product parameters and customer requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Previous MRP experience preferred.
Must be dependable and able to work overtime as needed.
