Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. •Analyze & interpret complex provisions in commercial and supplier agreements
•Review supplier contracts and coordinate approval with clients procurement team
•Review Draft customer software license and other agreements and amendments
•Negotiation (both written and verbal) of a variety of sales, professional services, and supplier agreements
•Independently manages workflow for contract review process for a variety of contract types
Senior Contracts Manager Qualifications:
6 years of experience managing a variety of complex contracts in a corporate environment
•Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic record
•Ability to manage and deliver on a diverse and complex workload particularly in a fast-paced corporate setting
•Experience in oral negotiations
•Proficient in Word and Excel
•Experience with a contract management system, e.g., Docusign(Spring CM), Conga
•Efficient and effective problem solving skills •Ability to work in a fast paced, high output, team oriented, practical environment
•Effective communication with all stakeholders- legal colleagues, management, customers, etc.
•Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of success
