IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. DEFINITION:
The project manager is responsible for the coordination, management and successful implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems to increase operating efficiency and/or adapt to new requirements or technologies as the organizational need defines. This includes the management of the request process, working to ensure the projects are completed within the established timelines and appropriating resources. The project manager works closely with the Director of IT and leadership across the organization to communicate updates, delays or issues.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in technical, management discipline, or engineering MS degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
