IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Contracts and Procurement Departments providing technical guidance and mentoring to assigned staff.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Management or Business.
