Path Forward IT (PFIT), a Blue Alliance company, is a national IT services provider with origins in healthcare IT. Since 2002, Path Forward IT has been troubleshooting, architecting, migrating, protecting, and securing IT environments for healthcare practices and businesses across a multitude of high-impact industries. At Path Forward IT, we are looking for the right person to fill the role of IT Manager whose primary responsibility is to act as the quarterback and liaison for our client and technical support team.

As a member of our Cincinnati team, an IT Manager is tasked with assuring excellent IT service that exceeds the goals detailed in our managed services agreements. An IT Manager is the face of our organization and can be assigned to one or multiple clients. This role will be assigned to a specialty medical practice in the Cincinnati, OH area. An individual in this role must demonstrate unparalleled customer service. IT Managers collaborate with and direct a team of technical experts, either remote or on-site to satisfy client requests and issues. IT Managers organize all technical projects from research and planning to implementation, with the support of the PFIT team.

• Keen ability to troubleshoot IT issues and dedication to follow an issue all the way to resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team members and partners
  • Effectively communicate with VIP client stakeholders, internal team members and vendor partners
• A willingness and commitment to learn new things and grow new skill sets
• Ability to fulfill night and weekend on-call as needed
• Must be able to work on-site daily when needed

And of course, your technical skills! This should include:

• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of DHCP and DNS configuration and management
• Strong Project Management & Portfolio Management
• Strong technical ability with working knowledge of MS Servers, SANs, Network Infrastructure
• Able to successfully multitask and prioritize service issues
• Experience with remote management of client computers and servers
• Strong knowledge for performing:
  • Active Directory and Exchange user and group maintenance tasks
  • Virtual Environment Management of Exchange 2010-2019/O365, SQL server management and understanding of various Microsoft Server products (Hyper-V, VMWare, Remote Desktop Services, etc.)

As a Path Forward IT (PFIT) IT Manager, we’re counting on you to:

• Maintain regular client meeting cadence to discuss, present and track technical projects/issues
• Annual creation, presentation, maintenance, and execution of Technical Business Review (consult and inform)
• Participate in timely client communication and tracking when emergency or escalated issues arise
• Maintain all documentation and improvements in SharePoint, ITGlue, and Passportal
• Directs team activities, leads, and manages direct report team members
• Successfully follow client protocols, processes and policies as outlined and presented by leadership via email, training materials and required team meetings
