Collins Aerospace is seeking hire a Capacity Planner to support shop, production planners and master schedulers on scheduling, planning and support capacity planning activities, continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives, and strategic deployment of planning enhancement tools to support the long-term strategy of the Central SIOP team.

• Hybrid work schedule: Haltom City, TX.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support capacity planning activities including capex reviews, assess head count, tooling, machinery to support the 36-month operational plan

• Participate in monthly SIOP reviews

• Lead the monthly site capacity reviews with site operations team

• Work on any ad-hoc request regarding capacity management

• Highlight customer forecast risk within lead-time due to capacity issues

• APO/Kinaxis expertise on managing capacity

• Proactively bring ideas and new processes to ensure systems alignment and improve overall productivity

• Improve process maturity by collecting turn-backs and fixing the root causes

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required:https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• Typically requires minimum 5 years’ experience using Kinaxis or SAP or APO

• Typically requires 1 year of Aerospace industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically requires experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Techniques and applications

• Skilled in database management tools is preferred i.e. (BeX analyzer, Crystal, Business Objects)

• Demonstrated leadership and organization skills with a team orientation.

• APICS / CPIM Certificate would be an asset.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
