IT Capacity Planner, Sr. jobs in Pittsfield, MA

Our client, a busy manufacturer in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a Manufacturing Buyer / Planner to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Manufacturing Buyer / Planner position are as follows :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred , 5 years equivalent experience considered
• 5 years manufacturing supervisory experience
• 2 years recent / relevant accounting experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Professional written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively while multitasking with shifting priorities to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to learn and grow in role Benefits you will receive as the Manufacturing Buyer / Planner :
• Direct Hire position
• Full time schedule Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
• $60-$70k / year depending on skills and experience

• Negotiate contracts and hold suppliers accountable
• Manage inventory
• Vendor relationship building
• Identify new suppliers
• Manage outsourced services
• Ensure compliance with customer and company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to meet requirements
