IT Capacity Planner, Sr. evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements. Implements policies for network storage system troubleshooting, updating and general maintenance. Being an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. documents problems and solutions and serves as the point of contact for network capacity related issues. Allocates storage space, plans for future projects or acquisitions, reviews hardware and software configurations and makes suggestions for appropriate storage or backup models. Additionally, IT Capacity Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. To be an IT Capacity Planner, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and detail-oriented construction estimator to join our team!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:- Examine drawings and specifications for job requirements, quantity takeoff and pricing.
- Perform material and systems take off as required.
- Draft bid scopes of work and final buy-out scopes of work.
- Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, set up scope and prepare bid documents/forms.
- Examine existing conditions and attend pre-bid meeting.
- Compile estimates, rough order of magnitude budgets, cost-benefit analysis, constructability reviews, and engage in value analysis.
- Assist with determination of schedule.
- Coordinate project buyout and hand off to Operations Staff.
- Coordinate scope reviews with subcontractors and provide subcontractor recommendations based upon these reviews.
- Search for and qualify potential new Subcontractors, suppliers, methods, equipment, etc. for competitive advantages.
- Work collaboratively with project team to ensure positive results.
- Assist Business Development to prepare conceptual estimates and attend meetings with Owners for interviews, scope determination and value engineering.
- Utilize On-Screen Take Off, Excel, Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam, and all other estimating systems utilized by the company.
- Supervise subordinate team members.
- We are looking for self-motivated and organized team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
SKILLS:- 5 years experience in construction estimating.
- Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
- Strong understanding of hospitality or healthcare construction help, but not required.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Impeccable problem-solving skills.
