You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and implementation.

    • 8-month assignment likely to be extended or converted based on the performance and budget.
    • 100% onsite opportunity for an initial one month, then it will hybrid with 3 days onsite.
    • IT Software project management in a waterfall setting - need to be a leader, and proactive.
    • Software delivery projects - must be computer IT related, building new computer systems.
    • NOT looking for a scrum master. This is a mid-level position.
    • Software technical ability beyond the typical project manager – able to understand Cloud / Azure, general IT networking, security, processes, procedures, and evaluate technical requests.
    • Strong speaking/writing/soft/interpersonal skills required.
    • The position is customer-facing and must be able to communicate, effectively, and clearly to clients.
    • Must be highly organized. Must be able to professionally handle conflict and identify resolutions acceptable to all parties.
    • Works with business and IT management to establish project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues, and risks will affect projects working with department, management, and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution.
    • Measure performance to ensure the project is progressing as compared to the original plan and budget.
    • Develops and executes a work plan obtaining authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed.
    • Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from the sponsor and stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to the Project Team and Department manager. Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based on their abilities.
    • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
    • At the department level or assists with Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.
    • Make decisions that impact project-level activities. Influence project-level budget.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.
    • At least 3 yrs. experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.
