Who We're Looking For This position provides support of centralized supplier and IT asset management and administration for the organization. This includes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, contract management, procurement, development and administration of the supplier processes and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible for establishing IT asset management policies, processes and procedures, as well as, overall governance in order to ensure controls and systems are in place to ensure efficient management of IT hardware and software assets. - Some of What You'll Do Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Perform centralized supplier management in support of the IT infrastructure environment. Manage the selection of suppliers based upon best practices. Develop, communicate and administer standards and process for supplier selections, contract management and quality control. Establish and communicate contract renewal timelines and develop project plans to meet contract expiration commitments. Perform centralized IT asset management in support of the IT infrastructure environment. Establish processes and procedures to ensure IT hardware and software license assets are properly managed and tracked in a centralized database. Evaluate, select and implement 3rd party software tools in support of an ITIL based ITAM process and system. Perform centralized IT asset management in support of the IT infrastructure environment. Establish processes and procedures to ensure IT hardware and software license assets are properly managed and tracked in a centralized database. Evaluate, select and implement 3rd party software tools in support of an ITIL based ITAM process and system. Manage and administer the contract management process in collaboration with procurement and legal. Lead negotiation of vendor agreements on behalf of the organization. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors to manage contracts and vendor costs more effectively. Develop and administer Service Level Agreements to ensure efficiencies, customer commitments and quality. Perform as the liaison between the company representatives and vendors in contract interpretations and resolving contractual disputes. Lead requirements gathering efforts in support of software license renewals. Perform Quarterly and “as needed” vendor service reviews in coordination with the Operations organization. Ensure problems are escalated when requested by senior level management. Ensure vendor contracts with commitments are met and executed appropriately. Effectively recruit, hire, train and motivate staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the department. Perform all performance management activities for staff and ensure they are engaged employees. Job Requirements: 4-5 years in a contract management. 10-15 years of Supervisory/Leadership experience. 25-30 years of Telecommunications knowledge. Strong working knowledge of contract management processes and procedures . Strong working knowledge of Vendor/Supplier relations. Experience in managing an IT operations environment. Strong Negotiation skills and experience leading large multifaceted contract renewals. Skilled in Influence management. Strong knowledge of Telecommunications and Wireless industries and technologies. Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software environment and products . Experience with IT asset management and software license compliance. Experienced in driving IT cost efficiencies within vendor contracts. Effective problem solving skills. Effective Interview Techniques. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and leadership skills. General understanding of Financial and Legal policies and procedures . General understanding of Accounting process application.
