IT Asset Manager manages the operations of the IT asset and inventory management function. Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. Being an IT Asset Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime. Additionally, IT Asset Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Asset Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Asset Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     This position will be part of the Intermountain Division Office located in Billings, MT, reporting to the Director of Asset Protection. As the District Asset Protection Manager supporting District 4, you will be an integral member of the team by implementing asset protection initiatives that support and protect our stores within your district.

    You Will:

    • Promote the adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular store inspection checks ensuring compliance of all operational processes related to shrink reduction, loss controls and physical security; assist in follow-up action plans or maintenance calls as needed.
    • Implement proactive Asset Protection and shrink reduction initiatives and strategies for all stores.
    • Investigate both internal and external theft, misappropriation, and fraud issues.
    • Investigate Employment related allegations such as sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, wage, and hour issues, etc. as requested by Human Resources and Associate Relations
    • Assist in the training of store management and associates in the areas of, but not limited to shrink awareness, operational shrink processes, internal and external theft, and serious incident awareness.
    • Coordinate and perform audits in retail stores, prepare and submit required reports for management review.
    • Manage and roll out new processes and procedures for division Asset Protection team.
    • Partner closely with corporate team to drive any change initiatives and ensure compliance with new programing.

    You Will Have:

    • Experience with computer software to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
    • The ability to conduct investigations, with good interviewing skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • The ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
    • Experience in asset protection
    • Leadership qualities to lead and develop the team of Asset Protection Specialist
    • High energy, solution focused efforts with a passion for investigations

    Education Level: The most appropriate minimum education for this position is a bachelor’s degree.

    Experience Level: The most appropriate level of experience for this position is 1 to 5 years plus the education listed above.
