IT Asset Management Administrator jobs in West Des Moines, IA

Responsibilities:

• The focus will be on supporting the Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) functions of the company.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance and optimization of software assets.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment data, asset inventory and usage.
• Monitors the onboarding of publishers, software products, models, entitlements and allocations in ServiceNow.
• Support ITAM tools, processes, and procedures to automate the collection, storage, and reporting of key software data so that the products can be managed across the enterprise in an effective manner.
• Assists ITAM Manager with reconciliation and report generation.
• Assists with creating IT asset management procedure documentation.
• Assists in maintaining and reporting on IT asset records throughout the asset life cycle.
• Assist subject matter experts on software and hardware asset inventory operations and contributes advice to other stakeholders when needed.
• Participates in special projects as needed to mitigate risks or realize opportunities.
• Assists in operationalizing processes for managing unapproved software and hardware in the environment.
• Other ITAM duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of IT Asset software lifecycle management and 1 year of experience in IT Asset Management.
• Required experience using IT software asset management solutions and tools, specifically ServiceNow.
• Cloud Asset Management experience a plus
• Methodical approach with high attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and with a positive attitude.
