Maintenance Tech
Our ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, professional, honest, hard working and has a great attitude. We are looking for an individual to focus on a range of maintenance needs including readying properties for leasing, managing work orders, completing small renovation projects, and addressing emergency maintenance. This position is full time (35-40 hours) Individual must be able to lift up to 45lbs regularly. Experience is preferred but will train the right person.
Responsibilities and Duties
GENERAL MAINTENANCE -- Replace garbage disposals, install blinds, replace kitchen and bath fixtures, repair appliances, install cabinets, install locks, installing kitchen/bathroom fans, and adjust doors.
INTERMEDIATE PLUMBING -- Troubleshooting leaks, snaking and clearing stoppages, replacing p-traps, installing toilets/sinks/faucets, installing dishwashers, changing water heater elements, and replacing shower cartridges.
DRYWALL/PAINTING - Drywall repairs, paint interior walls, paint property exterior, paint cabinets, and paint decks.
LIGHT ELECTRICAL -- replacing fixtures and outlets, and installing range hood vents.
LANDSCAPING -- Assist with landscape maintenance, and trash removal.
Qualifications and Skills
One year experience preferred (but will train the right person) in property management maintenance, construction, or related. Intermediate skills in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and painting. Must be able to speak, print, and read written instructions in English. Individual must be able to work independently, stay on task, and possess the ability to function effectively in a customer service environment. A qualified applicant must have his/her own basic tools and must be willing to submit to pre-employment background checks.
