  • DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Application Architecture and Business Systems
      • Manage and maintain stock room and inventory levels.
      • Record all company assets in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database.
      • Maintain an understanding of the system and software landscape within the company.

     

    • Platforms and Applications
      • Assist end-users with workstation hardware and application issues.
      • Build, setup, and ship end-user systems and hardware.
      • Ship assets to other locations.
      • Setup user accounts in AD and other applications.
      • Push applications to user workstations via automation tools.

     

    • Development
      • Maintain asset management program (ITAM).
      • Create and update procedures and knowledge base articles.

     

    • System Management
      • Assist end-users to install programs to workstations.
      • Assist end-users in workstation related issues.
      • Setup industrial devices such as scan guns and label printers.
      • Build setup new workstations.
      • Troubleshoot workstation software/hardware issues.

     

    • System Automation
      • Utilize company automation systems to build workstations.
      • Work with system engineers to update automation abilities.

    • On-site work
      • Assist local staff in on premise technical issues such as printers, cabling, monitors, and other local compute issues.

     

    • Evaluates tools or software technologies with more cost effective or modern options.
    • Applies application architecture standards to ensure appropriate conformity for existing and new solutions.
    • Identifies opportunities to retire duplicative tools or software technologies.
    • Ensures effective development of key business software tools, including workflows.
    • Works with Desktop Engineering to ensure enterprise readiness of all cloud solutions.
    • Validates that all system solutions follow industry best practice settings and conform to company security policies.
    • Assists other Business Technology teams to evaluate new software solutions for compliance with corporate technology and architecture standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

     

    • Education:  College level completion preferred.
    • Experience:  1-3 years in similar field and experience.
    • Reading and writing Spanish.
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiar in managing Enterprise systems.
    • Familiar in Microsoft Office 365.
    • Familiar in Mobile Device Management platforms.
    • Familiar in Anti-Virus/Malware products.
    • Familiar in endpoint encryption solutions.
    • Familiar in Remote Desktop control software.
    • Familiar in DNS, DHCP, and common network protocols.
    • Well organized.
    • Good and documenting processes and technology.
    • Ability to follow and update procedures.
    • Working knowledge of File Collaboration software such as Box, Atlassian, SharePoint and OneDrive.
    • Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
    • Ability to adapt and learn new tools.
    • Productive working independently as well as in teams.
    • Proficient in general IT (database, security, networking) concepts.
    • Have a proven track record in meeting deadlines and delivering successfully.

    Work hours: The Level 1 Service Team operatates 24/7 and shift hours may be assigned. Occasional extended work hours may be required. 

    Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic, plant background noise).  The job is performed under a generally hazard free environment.

     

    Position may also be eligible as “work from home” and must be able to sustain a highspeed stable internet connection. Home office must be secured from unauthorized visitors.
