    Job Responsibilities

    • Installs software programs, hardware programs, PC equipment and office equipment.
    • Manage the technology aspects of the new FTC Regulations.
    • Troubleshoots or repairs problems with hardware, software, and office equipment.
    • Updates phone system, and other applications.
    • Checks computer software (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
    • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
    • Sets up new users on phones, voicemail, cellular phones, and software systems and trains new users on communication equipment.
    • Sets up work stations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (printers, etc.).
    • Ensures security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
    • Provides organization and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
    • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
    • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
    • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes, and maintenance schedule.
    • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and places orders.
    • Generates phone or communication reports weekly.
    • Logs daily accomplishments.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Networking experience helpful, proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position, excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational and time management skills, in depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Including Driver's License)

    Operator Driver's License (must be insurable); Microsoft Certification for System Engineers (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Cisco Certification (optional), Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
