Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process Ownership:o Act as the primary point of contact and owner of the IT asset management process, overseeingprocess changes, implementation, and continuous improvement.o Define, document, and communicate IT asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency.• Inventory Control:o Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and other technology-related items.o Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of the asset database and resolve discrepancies.• Compliance and Risk Management:o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, licensing agreements, and organizational policiesrelated to IT asset management.o Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT assets, including security vulnerabilities, licenseviolations, and potential financial impacts.• Reporting and Analysis:o Generate and analyze reports on IT asset utilization, procurement costs, and compliance metrics.o Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize asset performance and reduce operational costs.• Stakeholder Collaboration:o Collaborate with IT teams, finance, legal, and other relevant stakeholders to align IT assetmanagement processes with overall business objectives.o Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to facilitate communication and ensure a holistic approach to asset management.• May perform other duties as assigned.
