Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Assistant Account Manager. As an Assistant Account Manager, you will work closely with our Account Managers to support our clients and ensure smooth operations of their IT services. Responsibilities
1. Client Support: Assist Account Manager in addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
2. Account Management: Collaborate with Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients. Assist in managing client accounts, including contract renewals, service upgrades, developing quotes for hardware/software/services, and identifying upselling opportunities.
3. Service Delivery: Support Account Manager in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of IT services to clients. Assist in managing service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
4. Project Coordination: Assist in managing projects related to client accounts, including coordinating internal resources, tracking project timelines, and providing regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Financial Management: Assist Account Manager in monitoring client billing, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing. Collaborate with the Office Manager and Director of Operations to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including account details, service requests, and project documentation. Prepare regular reports on client activities, service metrics, and project progress.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and client retention strategies.
Requirements
1. Education: Associates degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as account management, customer support, or sales, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the MSP/IT industry and its services is an advantage.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
4. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple client accounts, projects, and deadlines.
5. Problem-solving Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve client issues promptly, proactively, and independently. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary for providing innovative solutions.
6. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and related technologies is necessary. Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools is desirable.
