Overview: As the he Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the House Calls and Medical Group lines of business. This role represents the face of AllaraCare for new patients, and is critical for delivering a positive patient experience. The Operations Coordinator acts as point-of-contact for patients, and ensures timely communications with patients and partners to facilitate coordination of care. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator is accountable for ensuring smooth and effective execution of workflows and maintaining accurate documentation/tracking.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new patients, including (but not limited to) registering patient, filing signed intake forms, coordinating transfer of medical records, building medical records into EMR, and providing patient portal support
• Coordinate patient care, including (but not limited to) scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and directing calls and other communications
• Develop trackers and maintain accurate documentation; regularly and accurately report on progress and challenges
• Assist in the preparation of job aids, workflows, org charts, and other business documents
• Monitor and analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement; assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
• Support training/onboarding of new hires for the operations teams

Key Competencies and Skills

• Proven experience in leadership role within the house calls or home health care industry.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of house calls regulations and accreditation standards.
• Commitment to our patients and a passion for positive patient experience
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills with ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize workload
• Ability to tackle novel or unexpected scenarios while maintaining accuracy, effectiveness, and a positive patient experience
• Comfortable working remotely and independently within established guidelines;
• Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in home health a positive

Qualifications

• 2 years in customer service, especially within health care or the insurance industry
• 1 year working with PHI in an EMR, experience with AthenaHealth a positive
• Experience in home health a positive

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
