Position: Financial Services Associate
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Location: In office, Chicago Loop
You will report directly to the company Treasurer. In addition, this role provides support to efficiently and accurately resolve client requests. This position is not work-from-home.
ABOUT YOU
- Preferred Major(s): Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of applicable experience.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks or a Trust Accounting Software.
- Ability to work well with others and comfortable acting as a liaison for various parts of the business.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Answers incoming phone calls from internal and external customers and handles inquiries.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position (provided by the Company).
- Must demonstrate an understanding of all applicable regulations that apply after Company training.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to operate the keyboard and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently sits, stands, and walks. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
ROLE
- Process and validate incoming ACH, Checks, and Wires
- Researching unidentifiable transactions with available sources
- Process and validate outgoing check requests for client accounts
- Daily and monthly account billing of accounts
- Preparing and processing account terminations
- Maintain accuracy in financial transactions and reports
- Manage email inbox. Resolve internal and external client issues by responding professionally to all correspondence.
- Record important notes and documentation to the client’s account file
- Manage client inquiries with professionalism
- Use available resources to solve problems effectively and escalate as appropriate.
- Prioritize tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives
- Commitment to enhancing the client experience and providing operational and administrative support to all
- Special projects and tasks as assigned
