The Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out for procuring and executing work for heavy civil construction projects. This includes managing the estimating process, procurement, and coordination with subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers. The Estimator/Project Manager will also collaborate with the Vice President of Field Operations to ensure successful project completion and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Utilize estimating software and historical data to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with the VP of Field Operations and suppliers to gather pricing information and validate costs.
• Analyze project risks and contingencies, considering them in the estimation process.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and compliant with client requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and support bid submissions.
• Monitor bid opportunities and deadlines, ensuring timely and complete bid submissions.
• Participate in bid review meetings, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the competitiveness of bids.
• Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, soliciting bids and proposals as necessary.
• Review and analyze subcontractor bids, ensuring they are complete and compliant with project requirements.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring reliable and competitive pricing.
• Lead submittal and procurement process to meet schedule deadlines
• Lead change order preparation and negotiations alongside project management staff
• Coordinate project preconstruction start up process
• Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

• Experience with heavy civil estimating preferred.
• Working knowledge and comprehension of construction drawings, documents, and specifications, as well as construction management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must have good organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Construction Bidding: 2 years (Required)
• AGTEK: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Claremore, OK 74017: Relocate before starting work (Required)
