Performs maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning of all Hydraulic Hammers and Cylinders serviced by Stowers Machinery Corporation with limited or no supervision. Must have potential to be able to work with immediate supervisor as lead when called upon to assign and supervise the work of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the guidance of a qualified machinist, lead, or supervisor in the measurement, repair, and testing of all Hydraulic hammers and cylinders serviced by Stowers Machinery Corporation.
Follows directions accurately and performs tasks in an efficient time while working under the guidance of a machinist or supervisor.
Work performed is mistake and error free.
Accepts responsibility for own work and understands the impact of this work on the company.
Capable of inspecting components and parts to determining parts reusability and developing parts and material lists as needed with no supervision.
Shows interest in own work.
Orders all parts and charges time to the proper work order and segments.
Writes and communicates clearly and accurately.
Has knowledge of most basic measurement equipment and procedures and willing to improve this knowledge.
Prepared to purchase hand tools as required to perform job.
Properly safeguards all tools. Keeps an updated itemized record of employee-owned tools on file which includes pictures and cost of tools and toolbox.
Handles all parts returns and core credits in accordance with company policies.
