Hydraulic Technician, Sr. jobs in Oklahoma
Hydraulic Technician, Sr. troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and supervisor. Being a Hydraulic Technician, Sr. must be proficient at handling cylinders, pumps, motor and valve components, and with advanced hydraulic systems. Utilizes available resources to conduct technical research. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are seeking a skilled Power Tool and Hydraulic Cylinder Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of power tools, including BVA, Enerpac, Carlyle, and Sunnex hand pumps and tools, as well as hydraulic cylinders. This is a full-time position, starting at $15 an hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with power tools and hydraulic cylinders
- Repair and replace defective parts
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience repairing power tools and hydraulic cylinders preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
