Hose Technicians are a critical part of our organization. Technicians perform manufacturing and fabrication of hoses for our customers, usually in minutes while they wait. We also fabricate hoses for our fleet of rental equipment. We are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team.

    Job Description:

    The Hydraulic Hose Technician will be responsible for assembling and repairing hydraulic hoses and managing the receiving of products and parts inventory. The hose technician will also work with the heavy equipment parts department to assist customers and technicians, process customer and shop orders, unload and unpack incoming shipments and other general parts duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Identifying the type of hose and fittings the customer needs. Cut, fit, and assemble hose and fittings and inspect completed assemblies.
    • Ordering, receiving, and verifying incoming shipments.
    • Maintaining accurate records of all receiving activities.
    • Managing inventory and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
    • Prepare sales or work orders, both manually and computer generated.
    • Ensure proper inventory by counting, reordering, or stocking materials.
    • Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Receive shipments of supplies and materials; inspect for damages and completeness of order.
    • Verify goods received against bills of lading, invoices, or purchase orders.
    • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

    The requirements for this position are:

    • At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a hydraulic hose or related industry.
    • Experience assembling and repairing hydraulic hoses using various tools and techniques.
    • Experience in parts department operations and inventory.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, technicians, staff, and co-workers; verbally, phone, text, and e-mail.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use inventory management software.
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.

    Physical requirements

    Must have the physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift to 50 lbs. occasionally, sit for extended periods of time, extending and elevating arms into various positions.
