The company is a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive, entrepreneurial company with many opportunities.We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Hydraulics & Hydrology Team Leader to join our growing Design Management Service team in Austin, Texas .
This role works closely with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects to a variety of clients including municipalities, counties, commercial and industrial entities.
JobResponsibilities Oversee a team of five (5) to eight (8) design engineers and engineers in training (EITs). Be responsible for staff development, approving timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Coach, mentor, and challenge staff. Lead by example.* Assist Group Leaders in business development while promoting the company to maintain and grow existing client accounts and capture new clients.
Ensure budgets and schedules are adhered to.* Ability to execute engineering best practices for hydrology and hydraulics aspects of projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly.
Requirements Minimum 8 years of professional experience in engineering with a minimum of 4 years project management and a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage project delivery.
