Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for Watts Manufacturing Hydraulic Assembly Technician is to build required Hydraulic and electrical Equipment systems, components and assemblies while maintaining quality and integrity of product. Work well in a team environment while assisting others for the benefit of Watts customers.
Job Duties Include:
· Precisely build hydraulic oriented equipment, components and assemblies with an emphasis on quality.
· Read and interpret build documentation, assembly procedures and testing procedures.
· Assist integrators in updating build documentation, assembly procedures, testing procedures, labeling and quality control measures.
· Use hand and power tools to perform basic operations of assembly such as bolting, aligning, plumbing wiring and packaging.
· Exhibit strong mechanical skills.
· Assist in inventory cycle count and inventory accuracy.
· Verify correct materials and quantities are called out and used on production orders.
· Contribute to process improvement activities.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications: Previous Experience with Hydraulic/Mechanical equipment, a Plus; Good Communication (written & verbal); Detail Oriented; Highly Motivated, Self-starter; Ability to Follow a Specific Order of Instruction and Sustain a High Level of Concentration; Work in a Team Orientated Environment.
