Hydraulic Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all hydraulic machines, systems, and components. Communicates findings and recommendations to customer and management. Being a Hydraulic Technician must be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hydraulic Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hydraulic Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. 1. Client Interaction:
· Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
· Manage customer part check-ins, and answer inquiries regarding services, or direct them to appropriate personnel.
2. Administrative Support:
· Manage, organize, update, and maintain records, both electronic and paper.
· Receive and read daily emails, paying special attention to items requiring immediate attention.
· Handle phone calls, emails, and scans, directing them to the appropriate customers and personnel.
3. Office Management:
· Keep inventory, order, and restock office supplies.
· Maintain a neat and organized front lobby and office.
4. Technology Proficiency:
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
· Proficient understanding in Canva or ability/willingness to learn it.
· Experience preferred, but not necessary, in invoicing and credit card processing.

We have served Ascension Parish and surrounding areas for over 40 years custom building and repairing single and multistage hydraulic cylinders, making hydraulic hoses, and selling seals for hydraulic cylinders.
JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is the first point of contact for our customers whether by phone or in person. We are seeking a polite and professional individual who is able to effectively communicate in a business environment. You will be working independently for the majority of the day with occasional direction/requests from Administration.
