Human Resources Supervisor administers human resources policies and programs and directs the human resources staff in managing and implementing programs that support employee productivity and company objectives. Provides day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, payroll, and employee records. Being a Human Resources Supervisor supervises and trains staff that provides operational and administrative support for recruiting, onboarding, and other hr functions and programs. Develops consistent and standard procedures to process employment, attendance, and other records and to ensure accuracy. Additionally, Human Resources Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Human Resources Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Human Resources Records Supervisor

  • Under the direction of the HR Director, assist with overseeing the HR Administrative operations and processes to ensure that day-to day operations run smoothly. The position will provide quality assurance control of the HR Administrative functions.

    Position offers U.S. East Coast Remote Opportunity.

    Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Ensures new employee onboarding, pre-employment testing, off-boarding and personnel changes are handled in a accurate and timely manner.
    • Monitor adherence to internal policies and procedures and federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance.
    • Routinely audit personal changes and work closely with HRIS team to develop audit reports.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); routinely update supporting reference material such as factsheets, signature matrix.
    • Supervise the administrative staff, developing, training, reviewing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Analyze HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records.
    • Liaison with payroll when issues arise.
    • Maintaining administration of Third Party Background packages based on contract requirements and processing vendor invoices.
    • Ensure quality control of employee electronic files.
    • Conduct periodic HR Audits on employee electronic files and I9 Compliance.
    • Coordinate the collection of data for internal Corporate Audit and responding to requests.
    • Monitor cases and provide guidance on Unemployment responses.
    • Backup to the HR administrative staff.
    • May assist with onboarding employees during a contract start up, which may require traveling to the site.
    • All other duties assigned.
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or seven (7) years equivalent Human Resources administrative experience.
    • 5 years working in Human Resources with Government Contracting.
    • 5 years working in Human Resources in a multi-state and overseas environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
    • Experience using SharePoint and electronic employee electronic file software.
    • Preferred experience working with Deltek CostPoint and Deltek Talent Management.
