  • Patrick Industries growing RV Pillar is hiring a Group Human Resources Manager to act as a Business Partner to support the Fiberglass Group in all facets related to Human Resources. In this role, the Group HR Manager will provide strategic HR leadership and oversight for a diverse portfolio of Business Units spanning across 11 sites in Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi and Georgia. As a growing group, we are committed to continuous improvement, strategic acquisitions, leadership development and the implementation of cutting-edge HRIS technology to streamline our operations and enhance our workforce management capabilities.

    Reporting directly to the Vice President of the Fiberglass Group, this role will oversee the HR functions for the entire population within the group, supporting and managing a HR team of 10 direct and indirect. In this role, the Group HR Manager will act a strategic partner to Leadership throughout the Group to successfully support all components of HR functions for the Business Units!

    Serving different Industries throughout the United States including Marine, RV and Housing, the Fiberglass Group at Patrick Industries manufactures composite components including dock boxes, front and rear end caps, shower inserts, bathtubs, and more! The Group Proudly is home of 1,200 Team Members throughout 4 states and 11 facilities!

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Working closely with the Director of HR, the Group Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing new and creative ideas and influence on the Fiberglass Business Units throughout the group. Candidates should have the ability to successfully manage all components of the Human Resource Generalist functions so they may help guide and support issues when they arise at the locations they support. Acting also as a strategic partner, they will be responsible for managing programs within the group that include, but are not limited to performance management, talent management and workforce planning.

    Other job responsibilities will include:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the group's growth objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, retention and development to support our continuous improvement efforts.
    • Oversee day-to-day HR operations of assigned Business Units, including but not limited to employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, compliance and HRIS implementation.
    • Lead recruitment efforts for key positions within the group, ensuring a robust talent pipeline to support our expanding business needs. Implement best practices for onboarding, training, and development to maximize team member performance and engagement.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and team members on HR-related matters, fostering a positive work environment and addressing team member concerns effectively. Ensure compliance with Patrick policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Drive the implementation of new HRIS technology across the group, collaborating with HRIS and other stakeholders to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
    • Lead change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, acquisitions, and process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and team member buy-in.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
    • Create and aid in the development of new programs for turnover reduction, employee engagement, talent development, and other like development trainings.
    • Ensure that HR initiatives are driven by data and analytics to maximize effectiveness.
    • Streamline and maintain consistent HR policies and procedures across the group.
    • Promote organizational culture and values through initiatives such as recognition programs and talent development plans.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent gaps and develop strategic succession plans.
    • Manage and oversee the HR team, including recruitment, performance management and professional development.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in HR.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
    • 5 years of Human Resource Management experience.
    • Candidates must have a dynamic personality with the ability to work and communicate effectively with hourly team members to senior management.
    • Candidates must have experience in manufacturing or distribution.
    • Must have the ability to travel up to 10-15%.
    • Ability to bring strategic thought leadership while providing strong execution of detailed departmental functions.
    • Proven ability to create and sustain change.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Possess a high standard of attention to detail.
    • The ability to produce innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the Groups daily functions.
    • Candidates must have strong accountability and follow-through skills.
    • The ability to work independently in a busy environment with changing daily priorities.
    • Flexibility and foresight to balance engagement and business needs.
