HR Generalist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Professional to join our team and drive our human resources initiatives forward while adapting to evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and implement flexible recruitment strategies to quickly adapt to changing staffing needs and market conditions.
- Conduct job interviews, evaluate candidates, and make hiring recommendations to department managers with agility and efficiency.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding processes for new hires, adjusting as needed to accommodate changing priorities.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and managers on HR-related matters, demonstrating flexibility in addressing diverse needs and concerns.
- Proactively identify and respond to emerging employee relations issues with agility, promoting open communication and swift resolution.
- Research and resolve employee relations inquiries and issues in a timely manner, leveraging strong skills in employee relations, HR service and administration, and critical thinking.
Performance Management:
- Collaborate closely with managers to identify performance issues and develop flexible interventions and improvement plans tailored to individual and team needs.
- Provide recommendations for interventions, when needed.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Provide agile guidance and support to employees on compensation and benefits-related inquiries and issues, adapting communication and resources as necessary.
- Support benefits processes as appropriate and other benefits related items.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies, demonstrating agility in adapting practices to meet evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee personnel files, benefits enrollment, and other HR-related matters, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability in record-keeping systems and processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks and liabilities through flexible measures and timely interventions that respond to changing business and regulatory environments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state labor law requirements through support of corporate HR compliance efforts, as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise regarding company policies, benefits, and employee handbook.
- Answer and address employee HR-related questions and concerns.
- Coach managers regarding policy interpretation, best practices, employee behavior, performance management, and development.
- Collaborate with larger HR team, ensuring alignment on process implementation and employee experience
- Maintain fluency in and ensure consistent application of company policies/procedures.
- Build a positive work environment and support the Company’s HR strategy.
- Take accountability for identification, prioritizing, and resolving/escalating issues within established timelines. Conduct investigations in partnership with other appropriate internal partners when necessary.
- Provide a proactive approach to HR partnership.
- Lead efforts for smooth off and on-boarding process for employees and staffing associates.
- Identify trends in employee issues and participate in troubleshooting and ongoing evaluation of best practices and process improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent Human Resources experience required, multi-state HR support preferred. Must have BPO experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the HR field, including an understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes, with a proven track record of successfully filling positions across various levels and functions.
- Results-oriented with a track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, optimism, and integrity.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to work and problem solve with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Comfort handling multiple priorities and pivoting as needs change.
- Organized and detail-oriented - this role is all about the details - you need to juggle many different tasks, ensuring they all get done in an accurate and timely manner.
- Bilingual, Spanish a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
