You will report to the VP of People & Culture in this role. This role is responsible for various aspects of People & Culture, including employee engagement, benefits, payroll, coordinating various projects, onboarding new employees, interpreting policies, conducting P&C audits, and ad-hoc P&C reporting. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of P&C workflow processes, enthusiastic about providing a positive employee experience, creative and effective communicator, and extremely organized, meticulous, efficient, and an initiative-taker.
This position is based Diamond Bar and is Onsite work.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Recommend and help to implement strategies that strengthen and develop employee engagement through events and initiatives that touch employees throughout their careers.

Develop and leverage effective and sustainable feedback processes to ensure staff feedback is considered in making programming decisions.

Manage the planning and administration of annual open enrollment and other benefit changes throughout the year.

Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are set up for success by consulting with cross-functional teams to help with training. Following the initial life cycle of the employee for the first 120 days.

Assist in conducting exit interviews.

Manage the ADP updates, including data updates of all employee information changes and additions. Regularly run standard and ad-hoc reports.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions.

Provide support in areas of 401(k), payroll, worker’s compensation, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA recordkeeping.

Partner with all departments to improve HR operational workflows and ensure the integrity of HR data.

Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion.

Create and edit presentations, spreadsheets, communications, databases, reports, and org charts.

Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the People & Culture team.

Requirements

Minimum two-four years’ employee relations experience.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources Leave of absence and reporting.

Strong working knowledge of state and federal laws related to Human Resources functions, plus separation, employee relations and investigative procedures with special focus on California law.

Must be experienced in data analytics and research techniques to supply the most accurate information, reports, and recommendations.

Experience with MS Office.

Knowledge of state and federal governmental regulatory standards related to employment law.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business Administration or Human Resources Management) or equivalent experience required.
