Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Implements an HRIS or other system to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity. Additionally, Human Resources Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Human Resources Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Human Resources Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The HR Director position is an integral part of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. The position leads the delivery of workforce strategies and drives the effective implementation of key HR programs, policies, and practices. The HR Director works in close contact with other business leaders as a business partner to drive recruitment, employee relations, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, as well as all other functional HR areas. The ideal candidate will bring sound management experience and solid HR practices managing all functional areas of human resources.
The HR Director plays a key role in helping to build a dynamic employee culture where employees are engaged and find long-term career success.

Qualifications:The HR Director position requires:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.
Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in human resources, three years’ HR management experience, and two years’ of healthcare preferred. This position requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the day-to-day HR operations of the department are fully compliant and sound while also having the proven ability to function at a strategic level. The ideal candidate would be agile in moving from tactical to strategic at any given time.
Certification: Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
