  • Lasko Products, a market leader in home comfort products for over 100 years, is looking to add a Human Resources Business Partner to its corporate headquarters in West Chester, PA, with occasional travel to other company locations.

    The HRBP will positively influence and impact the organization by providing hands-on HR expertise and innovative solutions. Success in the position requires a track record of excellent judgment, strategic thinking, influencing skills, and results orientation. It is critical to gain the trust and respect of leadership and employees while pursuing positive organizational goals and objectives, and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with both HR and staff at all levels of the organization. The position reports to the CHRO.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor with employees and senior management across all aspects of human capital
    • Consult with functional leadership on comprehensive workforce planning and organizational structure
    • Analyze trends, KPI’s metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
    • Act as a catalyst for change and serve as a champion to promote Lasko’s Core Values and drive cultural initiatives
    • Design, develop and implement innovative and high impact talent management programs and processes to assess leadership talent and improve the bench strength.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees across different states/regions.
    • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, improving working relationships, career development, disciplinary actions).
    • Serve as a key resource in developing, administering, and maintaining HR policies/procedures.
    • Identify and assess training and development plans across the business

    Competencies/Skills/Knowledge Requirements

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and can interface with all levels within the organization, along with strong presentation and facilitation skills
    • General knowledge of HRIS systems
    • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing proactively with internal and external contacts
    • Detail oriented with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong prioritization, organizational skills with a high degree of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation
    • Ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality
    • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies, with oversight by legal counsel
    • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others

    Education and Experience:

    • BA/BS, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline, a Master’s is highly preferred.
    • SHRM or other HR certifications preferred, i.e., coaching, compensation.
    • Minimum 5 years directly in an HRBP role or HR Manager
    • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, workforce planning, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
    • Experience leading an organization through high growth, acquisitions, or other dynamic change
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
