    As a member of the Zoetis Human Resources ("HR") team, this role provides HR support and coaching to employees and managers, populations within assigned client groups.

    As an HR Business Partner you will provide guidance to your customer groups on a range of HR topics including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, colleague engagement, performance management, employee development, compensation management, and diversity. Through partnership with HR colleagues and internal stakeholders the HRBP will ensure successful delivery of HR practices, programs, and initiatives across the organization. A successful HRBP will be responsible for translating organizational imperatives into actionable work plans and then execute with excellence. This position reports into the Director, Senior HRBP for Global Diagnostics and will work closely with their leader to provide HR excellence support across the customer enterprise.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Partner with employees and managers to provide coaching and drive execution on employee relations, employee, engagement, culture initiatives, recruitment, performance management, employee development, and compensation initiatives.
    • As a trusted advisor to employees and management, address concerns, facilitate conversations, and conduct investigations as needed to promote a positive workplace culture aligned with Zoetis Core Beliefs.
    • Partner with RPO Recruiter and assigned client groups to drive talent acquisition process (job description review through offer).
    • In partnership with COEs oversee and support the performance management, competency development, and career management of employee and managers
    • Coach managers and colleagues on workplace concerns and conduct investigations as needed.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and local laws and practices, including supporting all learning and development and DE&I initiatives.
    • Ownership of HR operational excellence processes and data quality including but not limited to forms/templates for employee data changes, job description creation, offer letters etc, disciplinary forms etc.
    • Leverage and utilize workforce reports and analytics.
    • Liaison with internal stakeholders such as HR Services, HR COEs, Finance, Legal to deliver HR topics for employees and managers.
    • Provide support to Director and other team members for ad hoc projects, data management initiatives etc.
    • Agile HR team player, providing support on HR workstreams or projects as assigned in support of HR and company initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS (TRAINING, EDUCATION, PRIOR EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree required and SHRM certification preferred
    • Ideally 5 years of HR Generalist experience required. Experience in at least two HR functions preferred, e.g.., recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, HR Services
    • Experience providing HR guidance to diverse customer functional area comprised of non-exempt and exempt employees.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders from across the matrix including HR COEs, and enabling functions to drive results
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY, REQUIREMENTS:

    • Practical Human Resources knowledge and experience to drive support to exempt and non-exempt employee populations
    • Positive and pro-active "can do" attitude with strong focus on customer service excellence
    • Strong sense customer orientation, HR operational excellence, sound decision making processes, and business acumen
    • Demonstrated ability and interest to build influential business partnerships throughout the organization by demonstrating an understanding of business fundamentals
    • Embraces change, views challenges as opportunities
    • Strong data driven approach and analytical abilities to illustrate HR's impact on the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to objectively conduct an investigation and make sound recommendations to HR leadership, customers (employees and managers), other key stakeholders business
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of colleagues and management/leadership
    • HR Information Systems experience preferred, Workday a plus
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software ( PPT, Teams,Sharepoint,Word,Excel)
