    About Your Work

    Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Business Partner and become the driving force behind aligning business strategies with our passionate team members and leaders in our Southern California clinics as well as with our remote workforce. Your role will involve spearheading the coordination and execution of human capital plans, empowering talent through innovative programs, and offering consultation to enhance leadership team effectiveness. Dive into the exciting realm of performance management coaching, fuel employee engagement initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence. As the go-to HR solution broker for our clients, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a thriving workplace environment.     You will focus on:

    • Overseeing HR administration in the clinics and proactively solutioning difficult situations.
    • Coaching, supporting and providing feedback to leaders on various People & Talent related issues such employee relations, performance management, recruiting, job analysis, job descriptions, and compensation.
    • Developing line managers in their leadership and management skills.
    • Implementing HR Strategy in close cooperation with line managers and the Sr. Manager, Business Partner.
    • Partner with other People and Engagement teams to deliver seamless human resources processes and programs across the organization.
    • Support leaders in developing robust engagement plans to enhance employee experience.
    • Act as a change-agent as the organization continues to reshape itself.

    The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or health care field
    • 5 years of experience in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruiting, Compensation, and/or Workforce Planning.
    • 5 years of experience in a health care environment, health plan, IPA or provider clinic.
    • Demonstrated understanding of basic HR principles, policies, and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
    • Ability to quickly gain credibility with clinic leadership and staff, People & Engagement colleagues and other business partners.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives and influence.
    • Results oriented
    • Ability to be proactive, to anticipate and provide alternatives and options to the business.
    • Capable of building rapport and establishing effective working relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders. This includes active listening, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and professionalism.
    • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

    Altais values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.

    The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.

    Physical Requirements:

    Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
