About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time and hybrid role located in Orange County, California. As the newest addition to our Human Resources team, you will be responsible for assistng with recruitment efforts, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records with confidentiality, and supporting in various administrative tasks. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Generalist.
Here's an overview of the day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects you would be managing:- Assisting with recruiting efforts, including candidate resume screenings, phone screenings, scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
- Coordinating the new hire onboarding process, including maintaining employee records, faciliating onboarding sessions and preparing paperwork
- Assisting with exit interviews and offboarding procedures
- Providing administrative support for HR programs and initatives, such as benefits enrollment and performance management
- Assisting in organizing and maintaining HR documentation, including employee handbooks, policies and procedures
- Supporting HR projects as assigned, contributing to the department's overall efficiency
- Collaborating with the Operations department as needed to support HR-related initiatives
- Staying updated on relevant employment laws and regulations (federal and state) to ensure compliance with legal requirements
- 1 years of experience in an Administrative role, preferably in a Human Resources department
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and ATS softwares, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
