Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Resident Services, the Jobs Plus Program Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Jobs Plus program. This program, and position, is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Jobs Plus Initiative empowers residents of McDougald Terrace with employment-related services, supportive services and a community supports for work model to assist with navigating the difficulties of accessing services and assistance with life management.
Essential Functions
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, or related Human Services degree, and five (5) years of experience of working in community outreach, case management, and service coordination, and a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must possess a valid NC State issued driver’s license and be insurable under the Authority’s plan.
