Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented Housing Program Manager to join our team! The Housing Program Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Goodwill Housing Program including processing applications and facilitating placements. Provide supportive housing services for participants so that they may establish a positive rental history, focus on savings, and improving income/employment. Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Facilitates placements for the Goodwill Housing Program by effectively communicating with the applicant and community partners.
• Establish and promote community involvement and partnerships and network with agencies to build referrals to the program.
• Serve as the liaison with the property management company.
• Provides leadership and direction to program participants and staff.
• Assists participants in connecting with service providers for housing transition.
• Assist with facilitating payments for the Goodwill housing Program.
• Creates positive atmosphere within the program and housing site.
• Conduct regular weekly residential meetings with program participants and site visits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three (3) years of work experience combined in reentry services; housing; counseling environments; social work.
• Must demonstrate the ability to understand contracts, negotiations and regulations.

• Must have outstanding communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of diverse people.

• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance and acceptable driving record.
• Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is frequently required.

Physical Demands:

• This job may have physical requirements that considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
• Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
