Friendship Village is hiring housekeeping supervisor. In this position, you will be overseeing daily operations the Housekeeping team and Laundry services. Along with housekeeping duties that may involve cleaning and maintain the private homes of our residents and clean common areas of our facility. Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee schedules, training and motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities. Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and our residences are satisfied.

Job Duties:

• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Working Hours:

• Between 7:00am-3:30pm
• Monday-Fridays, Rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

• Professional housekeeping experience required
• Professional laundry experience preferred
• Prior supervisor experience required
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include:
• Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test
