The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Phoenix East- Mesa is looking for the following position:

HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR, Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain the facility clean, organized and neat.
• At least two days a week expected to assume the responsibility of Executive Housekeeper in their absence.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in maintaining proper documentation of paperwork and digital documents.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper with ensuring staff follow housekeeping policies, safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in inventory count, order preparation and time management activities.
• Report on time to assigned shifts daily.
• Clean assigned rooms in the time allotted with a high level of accuracy.
• Plan and allocate daily workload to housekeeping staff based on guest occupancy.
• Maintaining quality and consistency in team production.
• Ensure that rooms, hallways and other facility areas are well maintained according to brand standards.
• Address guest complaints/ inquiries in a timely manner and see through to completion.
• Ensure that staff use the cleaning chemicals and supplies safely according to OSHA standards.
• Assist in training of new hires.
• Assist in stocking storage spaces and putting away supply orders.
• Entering work orders in the company wide ticket system.

Qualifications

• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Weekends mandatory.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 30 pounds.
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
