Housekeeping Supervisor jobs in Sierra Vista, AZ

Looking for a motivated team-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team!

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the productivity of the housekeeping team members and the quality of rooms. Housekeeping Supervisors are also accountable for establishing and implementing hotel cleanliness procedures, fostering an inclusive culture, and leading with a teamwork mentality.

Supervisor duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Training housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Checking rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job.
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including all job-related tools.
• Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.

Basic Preferred Qualifications: 

• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
• Knowledge of and ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to safely lift 30-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand on foot for long periods of time.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A high school diploma is a plus.
