Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleaning standards
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and address any issues
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient workflow
- Handle requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, including inspections, maintenance requests, and staff performance evaluations
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping leadership is required
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning methods
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Familiarity with The Joint Commission industry standards is preferred
