Housekeeping Supervisor supervises the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for standards' establishment, staff training, schedule/resource coordination, workflow inspection, inventory maintenance and equipment supplies. Being a Housekeeping Supervisor may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Housekeeping Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. As our Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll oversee our housekeeping operations to ensure every guest enjoys a pristine and comfortable stay.
Your responsibilities will involve meticulously reviewing housekeeping boards daily, ensuring accurate room assignments, and maintaining detailed lost and found records.
You'll be the linchpin between our housekeepers and the front desk, ensuring seamless communication to keep room status up-to-date for arriving guests.
Additionally, you'll take pride in training our dedicated staff on proper cleaning techniques, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
Your role extends to managing inventory, conducting quarterly linen inventories, and promptly reporting maintenance issues.
