Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the executive director of housekeeping in the planning, organizing directing and leading guest experience. In the absence of the executive director, the supervisor upholds operating standards of excellence in hospitality. oversees housekeepers, houseperson(s), laundry, public cleaners and night cleaners). The following duties are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive:
· Performs all essential duties and responsibilities in pursuit of continuous improvements.
· Performs other related duties or additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
· Manage housekeeping schedule of all hotel events, group activities and site inspections.
· Supervise, plan, organize the day-to-day business activities and standards of job excellence.
· Identifies areas of opportunity to improve staff job performance.
· Administer team meetings, and workforce coverage.
· Inspects and reports performance of quality control standards of guest rooms.
· Coordinate with Executive Director on PM reports, noting special requests.
· Ensure quality control and productivity remain consistent with number of rooms assigned.
· Provides feedback, guidance, and direction to department staff.
· Provides job training and development for all employees.
· Upholds all safety, security and emergency protocols, policies, and procedures.
· Manage and maintain adequate inventory of supplies, and equipment.
· Manage all business resources and expenses responsibly to maximize dept. revenues.
