SUMMARY:
Oversee housekeeping at Cline Family Cellars properties.

Housekeeping: : Supervises full and part-time housekeeping staff. Responsible for cleaning facilities at Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, The Olive Press & 8th St Warehouse. Oversees housekeeping at all Cline guest houses and residences.

Special Events: Assist with set up and breakdown of special events, responsible for inventory of glassware, linens and décor items used in special events. Handles all décor and set up for in-house special events at all venues. Oversight of inventory, shopping and set-up for winery guests and events at Cline Vineyard Estate (CVE).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and supervise housekeeping activities throughout Cline Cellars and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, The Olive Press & 8th St Warehouse. Oversees housekeeping at all Cline guest houses and residences.

• Recruit, train, direct and supervise full and part-time housekeeping & kitchen staff.

• Time management and assignment of duties for housekeeping and events.

• Year-round scheduling (Sling), supervision and review of housekeeping staff.

• Handle payroll for housekeeping team (ADP).

• Responsible for employee safety through training/communications.

• Address safety hazards on the winery grounds affecting visitor safety.

• Order and maintain inventory of all housekeeping supplies.

• Maintain and order winery food service inventory (paper products, candles, linens, etc.).

• Maintain and report on CVE inventory and repairs needed.

• Shopping and errands for CVE supplies as needed.

• Pick up and return special deliveries for events (including rentals and floral pieces).

• Reports grounds and housekeeping issues to Director of DTC.

• Assist in set up and clean-up of all special events. Responsible for set up of bars, coffee service, décor for all venues including VIP tastings, meetings and events at all venues.

• Sorting and tracking of linen inventory after all events and tastings.

Supervisory Responsibility::

• Supervises a full and part time staff of 5 to 7 people including scheduling housekeeping for all properties and special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years previous housekeeping experience.

• Management experience required.

• Ability to speak and read English and Spanish fluently.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous standing. Frequent walking on uneven surfaces and on even surfaces.

• Frequent bending, twisting and reaching above and below shoulder level.

• Frequent kneeling and crawling may be required, as well as infrequent climbing.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 21-50 pounds.

• Ability to carry up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally carry 11-20 pounds. May be required to carry 21-50 pounds infrequently.

• Ability to push or pull up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally push or pull 20-50 pounds.

• Able to work in all kinds of weather (rain, cold, wind, heat, sun).

Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour (Depends on Experience)
