Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Inspects facilities, recommends upgrades when needed. Being a Housekeeping Manager establishes workflows, standard procedures and quality control plans. Responsible for the maintenance of vendor/supplier relationship. Additionally, Housekeeping Manager may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Housekeeping Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Housekeeping Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Pleasant work environment and housekeeping associates, some of whom have been employed by HomeLife for more than 15 years. Jobs are done either singly or in teams.
    • After paid training, standard compensation of $18-$20 per hour tips regular pay increases. Typical weekly earnings between $400-$500 for established employees available M-F.

    Requirements:
    • You need a phone, car, references, basic English.
    • Be physically able to perform standard house cleaning tasks without problems.
    • A positive attitude and reliability are a must.

    Benefits:
    • Sick pay of 8 days per year -- with sick-pay bonuses when sick days not used.
    • Vacancy Bonus of an additional $1 per hour for vacancy cleaning.
    • Weekend Bonus of an additional $1 per hour for weekend cleaning (weekend cleaning not required).
