Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor budgetary expenses related to housekeeping operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, housekeeping procedures, and custodial practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
