Housekeeping Manager jobs in Greenville, SC

• Must be able to hire, fire, train, and discipline all housekeeping and laundry staff.

• Must be able to schedule housekeeping and laundry staff to meet the needs of the hotel, and arrange for replacements when staff calls out.

• Responsible for supervising, delegating, and monitoring tasks to ensure the day-to-day housekeeping and laundry operations run smoothly.

• Must be willing to step in and perform any/all tasks asked of the staff

• Responsible for keeping accurate records of replacement items, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and chemicals, and reorder in a timely manner, keeping to budget.

• Responsible for keeping an accurate “Lost and Found” Log and communicating with concierge in an attempt to return items to their owner as quickly as possible.

• Responsible for getting all rooms that are arrivals clean and inspected prior to arrival time, and all other rooms ready by the end of the day.

• Responsible for inspecting common areas for cleanliness.

• Responsible for doing inventory to ensure linen and terry is ordered appropriately

• Responsible for communicating with Maintenance and Concierge daily and outside vendors when necessary.

• Responsible for keeping logs for linen and terry that is stained/ripped and unsalvageable.

• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
