Housekeeping Manager manages the daily operations of a housekeeping services department to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Inspects facilities, recommends upgrades when needed. Being a Housekeeping Manager establishes workflows, standard procedures and quality control plans. Responsible for the maintenance of vendor/supplier relationship. Additionally, Housekeeping Manager may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Housekeeping Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. - Clean and sanitize designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop floors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Make beds and change linens
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
