Housekeeper works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties which may include: vacuuming, dusting, item washing, trash collecting and proper sorting. Being a Housekeeper may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Housekeeper possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The focus of the position will be to conduct the day to day cleaning and upkeep of all common areas, including but not limited to;
- Cleans and maintain pristine cleanliness of resident rooms, front lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas including washing, dusting, polishing, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
- Empty all trash receptacles and transport trash to the disposal area.
