Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Hotel Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We Are Looking for a Hotel General Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. ASAP!
Manufacturing Hotel General Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage guest relations, including reservations, check-ins/outs, special requests, packages, and events.
- Oversee personnel and activities related to the process and operations of the hotel
- Develop and execute the annual budget and marketing plan.
- Foster an environment that consistently enhances guest satisfaction.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and budgeted cost controls.
- Implement the ownerships vision and business model throughout all departments.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
Hotel General Manager Requirements:
- 2 year experience as General Manager required
- Conduct daily/weekly staff meetings, including weekly training sessions
- Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts, meeting clients, hosting luncheons and receptions, etc.
- Great customer service skills required
